Michelle completed her RAD ballet examinations up to elementary and tap, all the way through to gaining her Teachers tap certificate in FATD, by studying with Robyn and Chris McCarthy.
During her spare time, whilst working in Childcare, Michelle was heavily involved with Stage musicals, whether it be on stage, or behind-the-scenes, painting and building backdrops, and sewing costumes, to later becoming Choreographer for three Engadine Musical Society productions- Calamity Jane, Jerry’s Girls, and The Sound of Music. She then moved onto bigger stage productions at Rockdale Town Hall such as ‘Anything Goes’. After a break, from raising her young family in Coffs Harbour, she re- established her interest in dancing, by joining Julie Ross’s adult Tap class in 2022, and soon increased her competence in tap ability and became a Junior, and Adult Tap Teacher. Michelle is also involved with the MiX-TuB Theatre Group teaching dance to young people who live with some disability, with the purpose of encouraging them to engage in Community Theatre.
