Belinda Lemair
Musical Theatre Teacher
Belinda Lemair is a Coffs Harbour-based playwright, screenwriter, director, acting coach, high school drama/dance teacher, choreographer and big kid. She holds a Graduate of Acting Diploma (ACA), Bachelor of Arts: Acting (QUT/UCLA) and Bachelor of Education Drama/Dance (Hons)(UWS) and has been the Creative Director and Head Tutor of the Young Actors Studio Bondi/Coffs Harbour (2003 – 2023).
Belinda has performed as a professional dancer and actor in Australia and internationally for over 25 years and performed in more than 20 shows (Stage/Screen) with the likes of Todd McKenney, Paul Mercurio, Matt Grant Lee, Debra Byrne, Kylie Minogue, Wayne Blair, Wendy Hughes, Georgie Parker, Erik Thomson to name a few.
Belinda has directed over 20 stage and film productions. Performances include: EPOCH (Director/Choreographer); 39 Steps (Actor. Seacrest Pty Ltd); All Saints (Actor. Ch 7); Young Lions (Actor. Ch 9) Much Ado About Nothing (Director. Jetty Memorial Theatre); NESA HSC OnStage/Screen (HSC selected student top in the state); Power Rangers World Tour (Actor/Dancer. Grundy Pty Ltd)
Belinda has been a Dance/Acting Tutor for the Sydney Dance Company, ATYP, NIDA, Brent Street Studios, Actors Centre Australia, University California Los Angeles, The McDonald College, Julie Ross Dance Studio and is the Drama/Dance Specialist Teacher at Coffs Harbour Christian Community School.
