Amy Knott
Ballet & Contemporary Teacher
Amy grew up in Coffs Harbour attending a local dance school where she learned ballet, contemporary and jazz from the age of 3. Participating in many workshops and audition processes such as New Zealand School of Dance where she was selected to audition for the school at the age of 14yrs. Before moving away at the age of 15 to commence fulltime ballet training at Annette Roselli Dance academy, Brisbane. Where she was mentored by renowned former principle dancers Karen Donovan, Wim Broeckx and Jane Devine. During the full-time training Amy was able to compete in well known competitions such as YAGP, Jacqualine Morland Awards (finalist) and was going onto compete in London for the Genee International competition before Covid. As well as studied famous works such as, Coppelia, Swan Lake and La Bayadere.
After returning home after a 1.5 years of training Amy went on to complete her final level of RAD ballet Advanced 2 examination and was selected for top 15 in NSW for HSC dance.
